Why was this documentary created?

This project began as an assignment for a college class. With time it grew into
something far more involved, and eventually became what you see today.

The main purpose of this piece is to define and explore the world of fan-created films,
and educate the viewer on the efforts, resources, and successes of the genre.

Yes, every single film you see was personally approved by the original creators.

Who worked on this project and what software was used?

The documentary was written and created by CK Hicks. However, this wouldn't have been
possible without the long list of people that allowed their projects to be included.

All graphics and titles were created in Photoshop, imported and animated in
After Effects, then everything was edited together in Final Cut Pro.

 

Where can I purchase this documentary?

Sorry, but no money will be changing hands for this project - period.
